As far as I know, Jim and I will be spending this upcoming week in Managua. Apparently Suni is working on a project with the European Union that involves installing 42 7-panel systems in some pretty far-out places. Each of these 7 panel arrays has to be mounted on a concrete and steel tower which Suni is also in charge of constructing. Douglass told us that next week, Jim and I are going to be helping construct the rebar framework, and pour concrete for foundation blocks. It sounds like a very interesting project, and I'm perfectly fine with a week's break from the truckbed.
I have a lot of interesting stuff to post, but I have been consistently leaving my journal at Don Juan's, hopefully I'll do something about that today.
Oh yeah; mango from street vendors is awesome!
Your journal (trapper in the fourth grade) is your shadow........does this ring a bell?
ReplyDeleteOn a lighter note, La Chupracabracan be heard in SW Ohio as well. It must be a powerful force.
